Kung Fu Hip Hop....
You know..it wasn't bad. I normally hate "throw-down" movies. I guess the Kung Fu made it decent LOL. |

| Sweet Smell of Success. It is very good, though in black and white. The one liners rock and the actors are very good (Burt Lancaster and Tony Curtis). It was a Sirius Share release. |

Kiki's delivery service in japanese with english subtitles. I noticed that more dialogue was added in the english dubbing. _________________ Been there Done that |

| Doomsday. I was disappointed, because Dog soldiers is a good film, The Abyss is so so but Doomsday is not good at all.Imagine a society being abandoned with widespread mortal sickness in its midst. The film feels no sympathy for it.Although delinquent the original evil was not theirs. Also the medieval sequence is hilarious, people don't revert to such a backward age all of a sudden it is a gradual descending slope. They use the existing infrastructure till there are no infrastructure left. BTW the roads were very good. And where all the gas came? Oil is a product that requires know how to extract and to refine but presto a big shiny car appears full of gas and presto an armada of other cars also make an appearance. For a very good movie with a similar theme see 28 Weeks Later. |
